Sorry the background is all blurred out. It had names and telephone numbers on it....plus the sign with the warning is just so much more effective.
First "wild" Amoco sign sighting in a year. The station is a BP, but this sign still remains in great shape near the highway. I wonder if it lights up.
It is not attached to the CHASE sign. They are developing the land next to it and it made things easier to get near the sign as the weeds and shit had been cleared.

Acrylic Signs are a kind of clear & highly-noticeable signage. It is generally made of Acrylic, a material that can be used as an alternative of glass. When you print your message on it, that will be clearly visible to everyone. In this way, you will be able to convey your message & attract your viewers' attention. I quite like this pub sign I came across yesterday, different to most Nag's Head signs one sees. (No shot of the pub as parked vehicles were obstructing the view but kept in mind for when passing.)
One of the hundreds of iron signs on the houses of Hautvillers on the hillside of the "Montagne de Reims".
The original neon Magikist signs stood a mile or two from downtown Chicago, on all the major expressways into the city. The last of them came down a decade or so ago, but I created this digital version--in plain old MSPaint, which is all I had to work with--on February 8, 2013, a date that will go down in history as nothing special.
And if you think you could have done a better job than I did by using a better program, well, you're probably right, so please do it. My version is just a placeholder until a better version of the sign shows up. I'm just surprised that no one did it before now. Meanwhile, this is better than nothing.
And if you want to see my spectacular B * L * I * N * K * I * N * G version of this classic sign, then cut & paste the link below, which will take you right over to my blog.

208 S Elm St. In 1929 this ornate and lively Art Deco structure , one of the first designed by Edward F. Sibbert was built. The store's terracotta clad and ornamented breaks the tradition: there is only one entrance and no horizontal red sign. The Upper stories are pierced by vertical rows of dark windows linked by bronze spandrels, some ornamental with abstract foliage and the Kress coat of arms. The facade is tripartite,
divided by pilasters surmounted by rams' heads, and the upper corners are embellished with bold, colorful scrolled-leaf designs. The interior is elaborately decorated.
Post Note
Art Deco building that began as a five-and-dime store, now housing a special event rental facility.
Sign at the American Printing House for the Blind. I've always wanted to use printer plates like these as a backsplash in my kitchen, but have yet to convince a printer to let me have the used ones. (Louisville, KY)
