A bit of a focus stacked demo of a rose using the Helicon focus software.,
I love and am passionate about photography but my limited knowledge/skill is obtained by learning from others, the Internet and other sources. I am keen to continue to grow and develop my skills to be the best photographer I can, however to do that I need YOUR help :).
If you think something works, let me know. If you think it does not work also let me know (and why). Any constructive feedback or tips you can offer is always appreciated and helps me develop my skills more and grow as a passionate photographer. Whilst I appreciate the favorites, if you think I can do it better let me know how in the comments!

Jumping Spider (Salticidae)
The Jumping Spider (Family: Salticidae) is one of my favorite spiders to photograph and has some crazy number of species (like 13% of all spiders). Whilst I would not say I am afraid of spiders, I do have a healthy respect for them.... Nonetheless, the Jumping spider always looked like it had personality and curiosity to me. This jumping spider was hanging around my backyard so I could not resist taking a quick photo. Settings are not fantastic and the spider was photographed in the sun so light is fairly harsh.
This photo was taken with a Sony A7R IV with a Sigma 150mm mm f/2.8 Macro Lens (Nikon) connected to an F to E mount adapter. 1/1000 seconds, f/11.0, ISO 1600 and handheld. The image is a stack of multiple images which were focus stacked using Helicon Focus before the image was edited in Topaz DeNoise AI, Lightroom, Luminar AI and Topaz Sharpen AI. The jumping spider was not harmed in taking the picture.

This image features an immature Female Common Darter and it was captured hand-held using a Canon 7D with a Sigma 150mm Macro lens down near the pond at Fota Gardens which is located in County Cork, Ireland.
Since I missed the first brood of blues this year I made an effort over a few weekends to get some images of the second emergence before they disappear.

Found this photo when i was freeing up some space on my computer.Photos take a lot of space on a computer as everybody knows.
Ought to do that more often. After processing the photo i posted it in it's original size instead of the usual 1024 format.Could be me,but it looks like the photo is sharper now.
Here is an up close and personal view of a water drop collision. The water was mixed about 50/50 with glycerin with a few drops of rinse aid and some neon green food coloring. Tasted like crap but it sure looked good! Ha! ;-)
I have several shots to post from yesterday's session so I will be going through them and posting as I run across the best of them. I think I need an LP fix so I am going to work on a few photos I have been thinking about! ;-)
As ephemeral as delicate, we can enjoy them for a few weeks, and if the wind doesn’t accompany us, just a few days.
