It is fairly unusual to see eagles, here. This one, taking a rest from fishing on an abandoned Osprey platform.
This films gives me a strong sense of authenticity; vision of Vancouver, BC. During the New Years’ holidays.
They are so noisy, tiny, unattractive, and everywhere, but ironically those are reasons why I love them. Since they are everywhere, it's much easier to make shots of them if I find them interesting in the image. Instead looking for rare species with unfordable gigantic tele-lens, I prefer taking them as one element with the same importance as others. It's how they interact with the environment instead of "what they are" that matters for me. You can find some shots with those buddies in my photostream. They are normal, but play important roles :-)
