This trip was organized by Village Tours of Wichita, KS and Oklahoma City, OK. We flew to Seattle, WA where we met our coach. From there, we toured Seattle (including Pike Place Market, the Boeing Assembly Plant, a tour of Puget Sound and dinner at Tillicum Village) and drove down the Pacific Coast Highway (Highway 101) as far south as Eureka, CA. We saw Mt. Rainier National Park, Mt. St. Helens Volcanic Park, Yaquina Head Lighthouse, Cape Arago State Park and Redwood National Park. We road a jet boat 32 miles up the Rouge River in Oregon and drove inland to Reno, NV where we toured the Reno Automobile Museum and had a boat tour of Lake Tahoe.

We knew nothing about Taha'a before we started planning this trip. We did some research and it sounded great. Costco Travel organized this trip (a first for us); the agent recommended the overwater bungaloo and we agreed. Excellent choice.
Taha'a was the third island we visited and we loved it. We stayed on a motu but had access to a hotel water shuttle. We did a lot of snorkeling and also rented a car for a day. Taha'a is tiny, I think somewhere between 40-50 miles around. We spent a leisurely day circling the island, making a bunch of stops for photos, shopping, and just soaking in the scenery. We would definitely go back here.
