the south side of the front. I've trimmed up the lilac tree, which looks much healthier this year. The sedum was already there. the hosta is from mom and the scarlet runner bean vine will go up the post connected to the ugly chain link.

I plan to train the raspberry to cover this five foot section of the garden back fence.

Grace loves all the room to explore.

What I have been working on when I have the time.

playset for the children

This is the same rose as the one that follows, only a day earlier and shot with a different camera & light.

During the winter, I worked on pulling up all the monkey grass in this corner of the side yard. That bald patch in front is what I'd done so far. I ended up clearing all of it, including the dwarf nandina in the corner that went into a friend's backyard. Now I had a real patch of dirt to play in!

The bottom of my board is day glow green, so it lights up the snow in an eerie way.
