I cleaned up this part of the sideyard a bit. That flower bed area and the rosemary bush where both pretty out of control.
Now it's all trimmed back and Cassidy and I planted some mint, hot chili peppers, green peppers and zucchini.

Sideyard becomes an attractive garden walkway after being cleared and mulched, with flagstones and plantings being added.
Joan's first day with the manual potter's wheel in our sideyard. She's making 4 pots for her sister-in-law, Joan Roos.
The original sidewalk went against the house, in order to enlarge the basement window it had to be moved.
I pulled this sidewalk in 2024 and reset it.

This will be a nice place to setup the fire burning. Our newly renovated San Diego fireplace is truthfully fascinating!
After I did some weeding, this is one view of the garden in the side yard. The plants are greening up and growing larger. After 5 inches of rain this month, the weeds were taking over any open space.
