I am supposed to be in the hospital today, recovering from a procedure. But the Dr's office called yesterday, said I was too infected to come in. Can I stay on the new antibiotics a bit longer and they will try for next Mon. or Wed?
Black tongue is one of the antiobiotics sideeffects. Well, if you are going to have an SE, it might as well be a cool one.

So I started Chemo on Thursday. So far I've been feeling pretty ok, a little bit nauseated, but the various meds have been keeping it pretty much under control.
I have been feeling suddenly tired on and off, and one unlisted side-effect is frequent uncontrollable hiccups. Any of the normal methods that typically make hiccups go away don't seem to work. Not that I haven't been trying, which means I've been drinking tons of water, which I'm supposed to be doing anyway. My pee is very clear.
I haven't been eating all that much, but I noticed this morning that my weight is up a bit. Then I realized that 3 of the 5 pills I'm currently on are constipators, so I'm carrying around about 2 days worth of poop.
That's all for now.

You probably do not know the scope of the corporate & political theft being committed, nor how much you have been, are being & in the future will be lied to by business bosses, politicians & nooze media figures who regard themselves as our masters, & who regard all information as mere movable pieces in a con game they run in order to provide themselves with wealth, power & all of the pleasures of slave owning Roman emperors:

Double payment
[Oct. 2003] - Prescription drugs are the largest single health-care expense for most Americans, especially seniors. And drug prices are rising at a whopping 17 percent a year, more than four times faster than inflation. Pharmaceutical prices are higher in the United States than in any other country in the world. That's why increasing numbers of Americans are filling their prescriptions in Canada.
It's also why politicians of all stripes are eager to put their names on legislation providing prescription-drug benefits. Whatever emerges from this Congress is likely to be a complex and pricey scheme that will cost American taxpayers upwards of $400 billion over the next decade.
Drug companies say all this money is necessary because research and development on new drugs is hugely expensive. Bringing a new drug to market costs between $500 and $800 million. And we all benefit from what these new drugs can do.
But pharmaceutical companies don't own up to the fact that you and I are already paying twice for new drugs. Not only do we pay high and rapidly-escalating purchase prices for them, we also pay through our taxes. You see, a portion of federal tax revenues goes to support drug research.
For example, eight of the 10 most popular drugs produced by one of America's largest pharmaceutical companies were developed at the National Institutes of Health, which is a huge taxpayer-funded research complex. Most of today's anti-cancer drugs also have come courtesy of the National Institutes of Health.
Drug companies do research and development, of course. But they devote only 12-and-a-half percent of their incomes to it, on average. They spend more than twice that on advertising and marketing. Much of the rest is profit. And drug companies are very, very profitable. During the recent downturn, the nation's top 10 pharmaceutical companies reported a 33 percent increase in profits.
I've got a proposal that won't add a penny to the federal budget, will hold down a lot of drug prices, and won't harm research and development on new drugs. Here's the deal: Any drug company that wants its research subsidized by American taxpayers has to limit the price of its new drugs to the direct cost of producing them -- that is, materials, factory production, and distribution -- plus a fair return of, say, 15 percent.
No drug company has to take this deal, of course, because it doesn't have to turn to government to finance its research. But if it wants you and me to pay for its research with our tax dollars, it can't expect us to subsidize it once again by paying through the nose for its new drugs. Got it? One bite at the apple. Either tax-payer supported research or consumer-supported research.
It's their choice. But it's our wallets.

ITEM II
"[Dec. 2006] The new Democratic Congress hasn’t even begun work and already the pharmaceutical industry -- known as Big Pharma in Washington -- is attacking the Democrat’s plan to have Medicare use its huge bargaining power to negotiate lower drug prices for seniors.
"First, Big Pharma says it will amount to government price controls. That’s nonsense. Medicare won’t be setting prices. It will be negotiating them. The Veterans Administration already negotiates drug prices on behalf of its 4.4 million enrollees. Medicaid negotiates on behalf of millions of Medicaid recipients. Why shouldn’t Medicare use its even bigger bargaining clout to get bargains for its nearly 23 million enrollees?"
ITEM III
"[Aug. 2009]... after being reported in the Los Angeles Times, the White House confirmed it has promised Big Pharma that any healthcare legislation will bar the government from using its huge purchasing power to negotiate lower drug prices. That's basically the same deal George W. Bush struck in getting the Medicare drug benefit, and it's proven a bonanza for the drug industry."

Revisiting a shot from a super fun shoot with SideEffects a little while back, and edited it for a bit more drama. Sometimes it's just fun to go back to these and go I wonder how this would look if I approached it from a different angle and see what you can learn along the way.
In this case I used Imagenomic Portraiture for the basic skin retouching. NIK Color Efex for the Fuji Superia film color effect, and a whole bunch of manual retouching and relighting in Photoshop and Lightroom.
Rihanna goes topless once again, this time on the cover of her upcoming "Unapologetic" album, which drops November 19. The singer announced her seventh studio release on Twitter Thursday (October 11), posting the album cover and later announcing the title and release date.
She originally tweeted, "Find the #albumtitle in #allBLACKeverything on the #cover" and posted a photo with the hashtag #SideEffects, but deleted those tweets and later announced the official album title. "My new album 'Unapologetic' will be released on November 19 worldwide," she wrote before retweeting dozens of fan reactions to the artwork and title.
"Side Effects," along with the words in white -- "Diamonds," "Love," "Chalice," "Fearless," and more -- may be the titles of Rih's new songs, but a track list hasn't been officially announced yet. Her first single, "Diamonds," was already released last month and hit No. 1 on the revamped R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart this week. It also jumps 29-23 on Pop Songs and dips 16-18 but retains its bullet on the Billboard Hot 100.
Rihanna Poses for 'Nude' Perfume Ad: Photo
Covered in words like "Victory," "Fun" and "Faith," Rihanna stands topless on her new album cover, showing off her new chest tattoo and staring straight ahead, the word "Love" scrawled in white lettering across her face.
Rihanna has released her last albums in three straight Novembers -- "Rated R" in 2009, "Loud" in 2010 and "Talk That Talk" last year -- so it was expected that this debut would drop in November as well.
The 24-year-old singer scored four American Music Awards nominations when voting booths opened to the public on Tuesday, pitting her against Justin Bieber, Drake, Maroon 5 and Katy Perry for Artist of the Year. She is also nominated for Favorite Female Artist - Pop/Rock, Favorite Female Artist - Soul/R&B, and Favorite Album - Soul/R&B for "Talk That Talk."
This is apparently what can happen when you use Vectra 3D on a dog with sensitive skin. Within 48 hours, Moliere's skin was so irritated he'd developed a severe hot spot, and is still in a lot of pain after emergency vet treatment. He'll be on antibiotics for the next 60 days.
Vectra is apparently much stronger than Frontline and some other flea preventatives, and has some powerful pesticides. It was recommended by my regular vet's office because Moliere is a flea magnet, and they hadn't had any problems in other dogs that had used it. That's not a lot of consolation, though.
Please, please: if your dog has sensitive skin, please do NOT use Vectra on him or her! By the time irritation really shows, it's impossible to wash off the poisons because they've already been absorbed.
I'll definitely be talking to the holistic vet about safer flea preventatives (he's already on brewer's yeast and garlic pills, but they're not strong enough).

A few of stopping smoking cold turkey, of the frequent sideeffects are insomnia, despair, frustration, mood shifts, etc. these types see this here of negative effects might be handled assistance from over-the- counter medications.I applied the Fantastic American Smokeout as my target quit time
I started smoking when I was around 15. I’ll be 41 in September.
I’ve decided that it’s about time I properly quit. I’ve never really tried before, I wore patches at the beginning of the year but just took them off when I got home from work and had a fag.
Since I became a Dad, I have responsibilities to stay alive and to not smoke.
My friend Gareth, started taking these in January and has not smoked since.
I’m a bit worried about the side effects so if I do go a bit mental over the next few weeks, it’s the Champix.
Cath gave up when she got pregnant with Eleanor and just tells me to stop without taking any “Brain Drugs" made by Pfizer but I am very weak willed.
Let’s see how I get on, I’ve not started taking them yet but plan to after next weekend.
The best side effect is vivid dreams, the worst is suicidal tendencies…….
