I was shooting an assignment for class yesterday and was using daisies as a prop. When I was finished I snapped a couple shots of the daisies just for fun. Such a little happy flower.
This rufous-sided towhee has been hanging around down at the creek...along with his mate, which is the same colors only paler. Their orange-red eyes are kind of different looking...it's just not me tweeking the saturation.

Side entrance to Knox Presbyterian Church in downtown Guelph. The church is located on a corner so a side entrance is practical in this case.
Slowly tightening down the waist of the second Indian Rosewood side in heat of around 300 degrees. The Indian Rosewood side is sandwiched along with an electric heating blanket between two spring steel slats. In this photo the sandwich of layers is held together with clamps until the waist bending is completed. A small, portable, industrial thermometer sits on top the top slat.
Next the blocks will be pulled down over the ends of the side completing the bend. The side stays in the bender in heat of about 306 degrees for approximately fifteen minutes. Then the heat is turned off and the side cools down for at least fifteen minutes more before it is taken out of the bender and put into the 000 mold to hold its shape.
The shape for this guitar is based on a 1930 Martin 000 45 (a deluxe model of the 000). You can see this marked on the mold.
