Maybe some Lehigh Valley modelers might be able to use this overhead view of C420 410 for their weathering or detailing purposes.Radiator shutters are closed up tight and I did not take note whether 410 was idling or not. Sayre Pa. 07-21-1973. Howard Kent Jr.

The Times Theater was opened in 1938 and originally had a much more Art Deco marquee, www.cinematreasures.org/theaters/1265/photos/186684 which was much more sympathetic to the structure. It was last used in 2013 as a bar. Plans now exist to acquire the theater with public money.

The red "X" o the cashier's booth (which means that the structure is unstable) does not bode well.

This is a shopping mall in Glasgow city centre. I took the picture through the shutters just before it fully opened, i like the effect. It also has a lot of Christmas decorations up which adds to the look.

The animal tracks in deep snow are the only visible proof of activity. Ice in the salt water bay extends a mile, or more, just past the closest island. All is still until another storm arrives tonight.

EXPLORE #127 of 5 December 2008

Mix of shutter and wall.

An iPhone's CMOS camera has no shutter, and reads the pixel values off in rows rather than all at once. In this photo the propeller spins about 5 times while the photo is taken, producing a strange effect.

Note from the photographer: "We take a lot of aviation type pictures during our normal day, from crappy workmanship we find in planes to cool flying shoots. This prop shot was way different that any other prop we have shot. If you watch the prop through the camera the blades spun down and came off the prop at the 6 oclock postion, then looked like they bounced off the ramp and reattached at 9 oclock. Very weird, Hope next week we can recreate with a better camera and some video. Aircraft was a Yak TD with a M-14 engine idleing at 1000 RPM, Yes we had someone in the seat and brakes were set. Should of had chocks too. As for Photo shop, if I had those skills I would not be working on communist iron."
