Still stressed, I don't even know why. Summer is here.
I watched 500 Days of Summer today. It was a nice movie :)
Long abandoned farm down the appropriately named Lonesome Road just north of tiny Loran,IL. This basically one lane dirt road,with a little gravel mixed in,weaves its way through the hills northwest of Loran and has its fair share of old memories.But its not totally lonely,a group of cattle were munching happily on hay right behind me on this brisk,end of winter day....

gosh, I seriously think I'll give up creating titles for my photos.
Anyway, this is from the same day as this and this. My friend Nivia and I were experimenting with water textures and shutter speed. :D

This Thursday walk ended at the gymnasium, where youngsters scampered around like sprites. Slow shutter emphasizes the frisky activity. As you may note I was inspired by Emil Heinrich's recent image.

well we have to practice, practice, practice playing in shutter priority mode and aperture mode .... so this is the result of playing with the settings.

Originally, the Harris shutter was a device with three colour filters, allowing the photographer to make a single photo of a time series of shots with different primary colours. When the camera is kept steady, areas of the photo without any change end up having the same colour as in reality, whereas areas where motion takes place give a kind of rainbow effect.
I was on my way to dinner when I saw these really awesome shutters on this building near Clarke Quay.
This is Singapore’s Ministry of Information, Communications and Arts building, also known as MICA.
Needless to say I got to dinner late as I waited around for a clear piece of road to get this shot.
