With Golden Mile Complex set to undergo redevelopment in the very near future, places and icons such as the deck area and its surroundings will be somewhat missed.

As the complex is gazetted for conservation by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) however, it will be interesting to see how the new developers will attempt to preserve elements of the building in their new vision. For the time being however, these shopfronts are likely to be shuttered for the near future.

One little word, can make all the difference.

Thank you for the explore.

A bunch of photographers snapping shots.

The old general store in tiny Buffalo Hart, near Springfield,IL.,is about the last building left in town.It has been closed since the early '70s,its old wooden shelves still filled with a variety of merchandise. The town was once an important shipping point on the main line rail tracks that run through its center. It was named after a grove of white popular trees that stood out on the central Illinois tailgrass prairie,a small 3 acre remnant survives....

This is an abandoned home in the ghost town of Pony, Montana.

I shot this two years ago, almost to the day. Little did I know how relevant this would become in the future. It truly was a bummer, man!

Shutter, not so much enjoying the heat from the wall furnace as being fascinated by her shadow.

Reading and responding to all of your warm wishes, kind thoughts, and support, from sharing my difficult path to recovery has left me with a deep internal warmth and happy tears in my eyes. Every word was felt in my heart and I owe you all my warmest of thanks.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend of photography my Flickr friends. Take care and keep the shutters clicking.

I'll be trying to venture out in the frosty yet sunny air over the weekend too.

Some shutters I really like, in this series I've used different colour combinations for effect.

This species marked one of three Salamander species I had left in the state of California, outside the Genus Batrachoseps. My last trip resulted in all three of the species I needed. This was my first real trip in this region and I can't wait to revisit this spectacular place.

(Persian Palace). Funny how the store sign has defied entropy and the weather compared to the building itself. Upper story of an out-of-business carpet store, on a back street in downtown Mulhouse, Alsace FR.
