Improvised motor shutter for holography purpose (for controlling exposure time).

Honfleur, Normandy France.

The shutters work, and they don;t appear to be riddled with woodworm (I wonder how they missed them). They are a little warped though and don't meet in the middle properly. Perhaps a little TLC will see them right.

March 8, 2010: Yeah... I decided to take my Moleskine into the theatre. However, after sketching the seats, I decided to put my sharpie away. I figured the smell was too overwhelming for my counterparts. Anyhow, it was pretty darned hard to see, too! lol

BTW: I liked the movie. More so because I was lost and confused until the end. :)

A book about a mental hospital for the criminally insane and some of the weird things that are going on there.

Two Federal Marshalls are sent in to investigate an escape, only to find out there is more going on then first meets the eye.

By the same author who wrote "Mystic River" and "Gone, Baby Gone".

The movie will make more sense if you read the book before/after seeing the movie.

Working on Shutters you will develop patience. Like Luke Skywalker type patience. Use "the force" Luke....

Macro photography of my camera collection taken with a set of bellows and a Sony A7RII and a Minolta Maxxum AF 35-70mm 1:4 lens.

Shutter Speed - 1/30 Sec.

Fan Speed - No idea

Heading up from Wall Street towards the Brooklyn Bridge, I came across these shuttered stop fronts. The original image was a little disappointing, but I thought it lent itself to a little HDR and post processing.

The latest in a abstract collection

My shutter count is 9510. That is in 38 days of owning my 40D. OMG! That works out to about 250 clicks per day! Ouch. All that sports photography has its price. ;)

You can get the shutter count by running this:

astrojargon.net/files/misc/40dshuttercount.zip

1) Download the file

2) In Windows Explorer, unzip the file

3) Copy the .exe file into the folder where the Canon EOS Utility is installed (typically, C:\Program Files\Canon\EOS Utility)

4) Run (double-click) the .exe

5) Follow the instructions. When you press the "Get Count" button, the shutter count *should* appear next to the button.
