As I was down taking the other shot I posted Dave had his drone flying in the sky to catch the Emerald Isle coming out of the channel and heading back to Beaver Island. Photo by Dave.

Actually I went to the park, hoping to capture some sunset, but, it was kinda gloomy, not until 5:10 or so, I looked out the window to see this glorious afterglow, quickly take a few shots, however, the telephone wires were always in the way (I trimmed them out). I dislike to include them in my photos, period! ::-))

Redshanks breed in damp places like saltmarshes, flood meadows and around lakes, but during winter you'll see lots more of them on estuaries and coastal lagoons - as many as half of these birds may be from Iceland. The greatest concentrations of breeding birds are in parts of Scotland and north-west England.
The Kane shot. Over the bar towards Glenfinnan viaduct. Harry might end up playing for Glenfinnan FC next. Just look at that lovely lichen on the post
What can I say? There's just something about hummingbirds. I made a little hummingbird movie of a hummer I call Twitchy...check it out if you have a couple of minutes to spare. It isn't perfect, but I'm just figuring things out on the new camera. Enjoy your weekend!
Lots more hummingbird photos here.
