I am trying again and again to get bees / bumblebees / dragonflies etc. in flight, which proves to be difficult - for me at least

As a former high school teacher and yearbook adviser I'm familiar with the problems of getting the subjects in position for a group shot. This shot was no problem at all.

The sunrises lately here in southern Brooklyn have been pretty awesome, including today's example. I enhanced some of the color, contrast, etc., but not by much. Hope you also enjoy it!
Oystercatcher on the wing and skimming the surface of the river. This bird had it's young tucked under the river bank just up from my position, I was able to get some shots as it kept returning to feed the chicks.
