I backed this game on Kickstarter in October 2020 and it arrived this morning. The artwork and production are top notch and well worth the wait.
The game is set in feudal Japan and each player is a swordsmith tasked with managing a work force, gathering materials and creating the best Katanas for the Shogun ... simples ... but ... it comes with a 28 page rule book, although some of that is about the history of Japan from 1185 to 1868.
PS ... there are a lot more pieces to this game that I haven't put out.
As a child I watched the wonderful (first) TV adaptation of the James Clavell novel Shōgun and even learned a little bit of Japanese while watching it! Could that series have been the genesis of my love and admiration for Japanese art and culture? I just learned that there is to be a remake of the series - yay! Anyhow, in my version I think Lukas would be perfectly cast in the Richard Chamberlain/John Blackthorne role... who now to cast in the other roles?

Watching Shogun Assasin and editing :)

It wasnt inspired by a Shogun when I started but when I saw how bulky it got I gave it that name. So, I haven't done a hardsuit in a while and it was fun to make this. To be honset I have no clue how the pictures turned out so well, I did use photoshop but not sure what I did with my setup. But I like my results. Oh, there is indeed a full figure in there.
