Early morning raid of the bird feeders. He landed 10 feet outside my window and after sitting for a few minutes, jumped into a bush under the window, grabbed a song bird and left to enjoy his breakfast. These photos are not cropped.

One of 20ish Sharp-tailed Sandpipers down at Mason Park, Sydney today. These are the early arrivals as there should be plenty there in a few weeks time.
Elwood Sharp with his wife Kate and daughter Sarah. Probably taken in their home in California after they had moved there sometime in the 1920's. Elwood was the son of William W. Sharp and was a grandson of Joseph Sharp and Hannah.
