Sharp PC-1500 pocket computer from the early 1980's - considered very powerful in its day. It replaced the famous PC-1211/ PC-1212, although the 1500 was much larger.
The Wallace Collection is a national museum in an historic London town house in Manchester Square near Oxford Street. I took a number of photographs and details of many of the 17th-19th century paintings. The museum allows hand held photographs without a flash, in many places low light prevailed, so my photos are not sharp and serve as a personal reminder of this magnificent collection.

Meg Garvin, M.A., J.D., an executive director for the National Crime Victim Law Institute and clinical professor of law at Lewis & Clark Law School, gives a presentation on sexual assault victim’s legal rights to attendees of the 3rd annual Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention Summit Aug. 2-3, 2016, at the Golden Lion conference center, Caserma Ederle, Vicenza, Italy. The presentation followed an active duty survivor’s first-hand accounts of sexual assault and presentation from a psychologist on how those accounts impact brain function, which Garvin used to help explain the struggles some victims encounter when seeking legal justice. Ralph Waldo Emerson. The happiest man is he who learns from nature the lesson of worship.
Lucius Annaeus Seneca: On entering a temple we assume all signs of reverence. How much more reverent then should we be before the heavenly bodies, the stars, the very nature of God!
John Muir: All the wild world is beautiful, and it matters but little where we go, to highlands or lowlands, woods or plains, on the sea or land or down among the crystals of waves or high in a balloon in the sky; through all the climates, hot or cold, storms and calms, everywhere and always we are in God's eternal beauty and love. So universally true is this, the spot where we chance to be always seems the best.

Sharp (Hayakawa Electric Industry Co., Ltd) was founded by Tokuji Hayakawa in 1915. The company started by making pencils...the "Ever-Sharp" pencil to be exact. (I would assume that's where the name Sharp came from). In 1925 they began producing crystal radio sets and made their first AC/tube radio sets in 1928.
They claim to have produced Japan's first commercially released TV set (the TV3-14T) in 1953.
Col. Jack Usrey, executive officer to the Assistant Secretary of the Army and sexual assault survivor, shares his story to attendees of the 3rd annual Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention Summit Aug. 2-3, 2016, at the Golden Lion conference center, Caserma Ederle, Vicenza, Italy. Usrey also talks about his experiences in identifying events that trigger flashbacks, during the two-day summit. Guest speaker presentations, intended to show attendees the long-term physical, mental and emotional effects of sexual harassment/assault, followed Usrey’s testimony. (U.S. Army Africa photo by Sgt. This is the bird that I showed in my previous picture. I had assumed it was a Sharp-shinned Hawk, which are much more common in this area. But bp250 , a sharp-eyed Flickrite, suggested that it was a Cooper's Hawk. Maybe this view of its tail will help. It does have a wide band at the end of the tail.
Please tell me what you think. Thanks!

Thanks for the expert advice. Sounds like this is a Sharp-shinned Hawk, not a Cooper's Hawk. Thank you.
It seemed like he knew I was watching him!
