Ros thought this was a perfect iconic place for her entry to Rohans competition. The idea was to get a photo of yourself eating their Kendal mint cake. Louis was taking the photo with a wide angle lens. The final photo has a priest in the background, rather than a hungry Kiwi!

Harding Middle School students expressed the emotions, troubles, and triumphs of daily life through poetry during “Share the Mic: Community Voices Creating Change” on Friday, January 27th. Proceeds from the event — held three times during the school year — will be donated to local non-profit businesses and organizations. By donating to others in need, students learn the importance of giving back to the community.

Each year, DDB Canada's offices showcases their culture of creativity by hosting Share DDB, a unique fundraising event where staff members contribute items to the silent auction. Items range from photography, paintings and handmade jewellery to rock-climbing lessons, sailing adventures, catered gourmet dinners and more. Anything that can be imagined (and made) can be submitted for staff, their significant others, clients, suppliers and invited guests to bid on.

The proceeds are split between two deserving charities selected by staff. Share DDB 2013 in Vancouver raised $25,000 for two very deserving charities, the James Lee Foundation and Music Heals.

Leeds Pride - 6th August 2023

Some of the other folks I was sharing the trail with this afternoon at the Mission Peak Regional Preserve. I still think the cyclist needs his head examining though. :)

I typically upload in small sets - don't just look at the latest one in my photostream as you might be missing something you'll like more.... and your comments are ALWAYS welcome :)

"Shared Space" is a tool that allows scenographers to create virtual sound spheres in any space in a museum. This new experience offers the public the possibility to merge more deeply with works of art. While wearing headphones, the visitor is at the center of every sound. Depending on their location in the museum, the visitor can focus on a specific sound, story, or sound texture. In this way, senses other than sight, may be aroused and stimulated.
