Hello!
Today I’m sharing a fun card that I made for two challenges. This week the CFMB Challenge has something new, a kind of upgrade :)... instead of a beautiful bedroom as inspiration, we are now taking a calm, sweet and inspiring breakfast. The other challenge I’m joining this week is Case Study. I haven’t played with CSC for sometime and I thought that I could pair both challenges with this card. I’m sure everyone knows this by now, but just in case… the April Muse is Jaclyn Miller, a very talented lady. The inspiration is all about die cutting and sparkle, with some fun confetti pockets - casestudychallenge.blogspot.pt/2014/04/case-study-challen.... My card doesn’t have a pocket, but it has some of the elements in Jaclyn’s project.
I started by stamping the two b&w patterns (stripes and triangles), and added a Project Life card again… really fun. The reason I struggle to use these gorgeous little cards in cardmaking, is that I have to hide one of the sides :(… or not, depending on the project. I used gold glitter and Scor-Tape for the strip and “donut” and some alpha and number stickers (the question mark is a #2 sticker). I sewed a piece of vellum onto the PL card and coated the tiny heart with red Stickles. End of story.

An intense look from this Bald Eagle with a bulging crop seems to indicate that it didn't want to be interrupted; nor wanted to share the bounty of a roadside carcass. Taken in Eagle River, Wisconsin on April 20, 2014.
I was parked, engine off, but the lions were only thinking of one thing. They had been resting just to the right when they started at it again. It was just me, the other car and these lions. :-)

Light rail and heavy rail both serve the former MSJ&A station of Navigation Road, on the outskirts of Altrincham. Here Northern Rail's Class 156 488 pays a brief call on its way from Manchester to Chester, whiel a Mancheter Metrolink tram recedes in the distance towards Manchester. Note that only the up line is electrified today and this section is in effect operated as separate single lines.
This is a photo of Masjid Al-Noor, located in Malindi, Kenya.
It was inaugurated by Muslim Charity in March 2021. The Masjid was funded through a fundraising campaign run by the wife and children of Brother Noor as a Sadaqah Jariyah.
We have always taught the kids and grandkids to share. But this takes the cake.........or should I say cone.
Riley had a long trip across the pond -she was excited to share the spot light with her new buddy Gumby... I am so excited to have my first mohair girl!

Small Hindu shrine in a forest on an ancient trail high above the Auli ski resort near Joshimath (India)
There was many red flags around that shrine. It must be quite old, on an ancient stone-paved trail going to some high pastures near the ridge of the mountain.

This female Orangutan was sitting alone by a small waterfall, holding a piece of burlap over her head to keep off some of the spray. The young Orangutan came up to her, and she welcomed him under the burlap and they embraced. Within a few moments, the youngster had moved the burlap entirely over his head. The adult was fine with this--she seemed mainly focused on holding the arm and hand of the youngster, and caressing him. They sat quietly together, enjoying each others presence.
The word 'Orangutan' means 'person of the forest'. They are among the most intelligent of primates, and can live for over 30 years. The Orangutans are endangered, and are currently found only in the rainforests of Borneo and Sumatra. They are the most arboreal of the great apes, and spend most of their time in trees. Their diet consist mainly of fruit, but also vegetation, bark, honey, insects and even bird eggs. Threats to them include poaching, destruction of habitat, and illegal pet trade.
