Maltesers anyone?

Maltesers were created by Forrest Mars, Sr. in 1936, and first sold in 1937. They were originally described as "energy balls" and aimed at slimming women.

The current Maltesers' slogan is "The lighter way to enjoy chocolate" - earlier slogans have included "The chocolates with the less fattening centre", "No ordinary chocolate" and "Nothing pleases like Maltesers".

For Our Daily Challenge topic - 'Small.' Wiki is enjoying this still life I set up of her food bowl surrounded by my largest and smallest cat cat statues. See below for my concept, please.

I hold an image of the ashtray girl

As the cigarette burns on my chest

I wrote a poem that described her world

That put my friendship to the test

And late at night

Whilst on all fours

She used to watch me kiss the floor

What's wrong with this picture?

What's wrong with this picture?

Farewell the ashtray girl

Forbidden snowflake

Beware this troubled world

Watch out for earthquakes

Goodbye to open sores

To broken centre floor

We know we miss her

We miss her picture

Sometimes it's faded

Disintegrated

For fear of growing old

Sometimes it's faded

Assassinated

For fear of growing old

Farewell the ashtray girl

Angelic fruitcake

Beware this troubled world

Control your intake

Goodbye to open sores

Goodbye and furthermore

We know we miss her

We miss her picture

Sometimes it's faded

Disintegrated

For fear of growing old

Sometimes it's faded

Assassinated

For fear of growing old

Hang on

Though we try

It's gone

Hang on

Though we try

It's gone

Sometimes it's faded

Disintegrated

For fear of growing old

Sometimes it's faded

Assassinated

For fear of growing old

Can't stop growing old...

Afghan National Army soldier Taza Khan hands a bag of beef jerky to a local boy, injured by an improvised explosive device, while patrolling with U.S. Marines from 3rd Platoon, Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment during Operation Tageer Shamal (Shifting Winds) in Helmand province, Jan. 5. Over the past few years, Afghan and coalition forces have operated side by side, driving insurgents from the green zones, or populated areas, of the districts in southern Helmand. The few enemy fighters that remain from a decidedly weak insurgency have moved to the outskirts of these districts where, until now, the presence of the partnered forces has been minimal. With the start of this operation, Afghan forces and Marines with 3/3 moved to the outskirts of Garmsir district along the western side of the Helmand River, clearing the area of insurgent activity, weapons and improvised explosive device-making materials. A day trip to Hastings and the sun shone, although the sun shade here seemed a bit excessive…

Terry O'Neil sharing a phone pic with the wife of Doug Kirkland. Terry is a 60's photographer who made his name and a lifetime career starting with photographing the Beatles, then the Rolling Stones and moving on to many of the worlds most famous stars.

Although, when talking about the stars he’d photographed, he said that. unlike his friend Doug Kirkland, he’d never photographed Marilyn Monroe!

I know its cold for some of you.. so i am sharing the love from Florida! The azaleas here dont know whats going on.. one day its cold (50 degrees...lol) and the next it warms up... so some of them blume early. Some pay per view gardens here that are famous for azaleas will actually put ice around the base of the bush so the azaleas dont blume until a certain week when tourist show up.
