If you already know the path and know where you are going this is easy to find. If you were following the Festival Way route signs and didn't know the way, this would be a best bet. If you're a bit clueless like me you might be completely confused and a bit worried where you were going to end up.

Translation: "A plus minicars brings you freedom: driving without a driving license, parking on the pavement, no parking fees"

This minicar in my street ignited my thoughts on the use of public space. In the future one should feel uncomfortable or embarrassed to leave private property for a longer period in public space. Keep it as short as possible, because you are taking space from others. Share and rent stuff, and store your things in or on your own space or rent a space for it. The idea that anyone has the right to dump stuff in public should disappear. It is a privilege to park a car, not a right.

This bridge used to be my cycle route to the allotment. For the last year or so it has been closed for comprehensive and expensive restoration so that a guided bus can take South West Bristol into the city. And home again.

The coloured track is for the bus, the black section with the centre strip is (I guess) for cyclists and pedestrians.

To my eye this looks a bit crowded. Even with just pedestrians and cyclists it could get busy, On this version (so far) I don't see very much separation between the three modes of transport and anticipate a degree of uncertainty and anxiety.

TIme alone will tell.

It surprised me how close the new development area is to the industrial wilderness of Day's Road. Bristol is a much smaller place on a bike than it is on foot.

Not a recreation of that horrific night of 14th November 1940 but an ego boosting folly by our megalomaniac council leaders.

That's an ugly entrance with too much ironwork
