This is part of s waymarked cycle route from Bedminster to Ashton Vale in Bristol. The footpath is "shared use" and cyclists are offered a wedge of concrete to go up and down each kerb. Note too, that cyclists have to wait for vehicles emerging onto the highway to pull away before they can proceed.
