Even the picture fails to make clear what is gong on here. In real life it was even worse. If you don't know where you are going, this sort of mess makes life more difficult than ever. I'm afraid that there is a lot of this in Bristol. Intentions are wonderful - implementation and maintenance seem very shaky. Perhaps this is why many Bristol cyclists completely ignore all traffic regulations?
