The Retail Park with its Marks and Spencer, and everything, is where the young man was heading, I wonder if he found it? This sign is above the river on part of the Avon Bridge, with a downwards arrow reminding me where I have come from.

Steel grating bridges the gutter between an existing driveway and the higher street elevation that's flush with the sidewalk.

This is the warning in Preston (UK) that the area looks pedestrianised but cars can drive down the middle as well. What fun!!
