To Share a Photo on Social Media:
1. Click on the set you would like to browse
2. Click on a specific photo
3. Click on the square with an arrow coming out on the ride lower side of the screen
4. Click on the Facebook icon in the popup window
4. Follow instructions in pop-up window
To Download a Photo:
1. Click on the set you would like to see (Awards, Pre/Post Race, Finish, etc.)
2. Click on a specific photo from the set
3. Click the three bubbles on the right side of the screen which is next to the square with arrow coming out.
4. Click the photo sizes you would like and then click download.
This set is a combination of two local events. The first is a monthly holiday dinner at one of senior’s co-ops, while the second was the celebration of the Chinese New Year.
Our small Asian (senior) community devoted themselves to months of practice, in learning songs of English to add to the entertainment of their New Year celebration event. All were invited to join in and share in the festivities of magic and songs, not to mention… dumplings. :D
It’s seldom that I have opportunity to see and hear Asian A cappella, or to watch the accordion play, so this was a real treat for me. Their efforts are extraodinary in sharing and infiltrating their culture and customs into the American way of life.
These photos were taken hand-held, available light. If I had to have an excuse – that’s the one I’m gonna go with. ;)

I was having a little trouble with reflection off the glass here, and other visitors piling in so I felt I shouldn't stand around blocking the way too long, but I loved the opulent designs and remembered a bit in Proust where he writes about his fascination with pretty share certificates in the early 20th century. In fact, El Pis made me think of Proust's Parisian apartment world wherever I looked.
Each year, DDB Canada's offices showcases their culture of creativity by hosting Share DDB, a unique fundraising event where staff members contribute items to the silent auction. Items range from photography, paintings and handmade jewelry to rock-climbing lessons, sailing adventures, catered gourmet dinners and more. Anything that can be imagined (and made) can be submitted for staff, their significant others, clients, suppliers and invited guests to bid on.
The proceeds are split between two deserving charities selected by staff. Share DDB 2013 in Edmonton raised $6,000 for two very deserving charities, the James Lee Foundation and Hope Mission.
