When we bought the car yesterday, the car dealer told us of Brent's, a wonderful deli/restaurant nearby, so we asked that the address be included when he programmed the GPS. That was our first destination. We shared a pastrami sandwich, coleslaw and potato salad. And yes, we will return someday.
The conference was co-hosted by the Committee of the Regions, the European institution representing the interests of regional and local authorities.

SHARED INTEREST celebrated its 15th Anniversary of "Investing in South Africa's Future" on 30 March 2009 at the Tavern on the Green in New York. The theme was "Branching out -- deepening roots in South Africa and beyond". Honorees were Price M. Cobbs, MD; Graca Machel; and Johnson & Johnson. Michelle Miller of CBS was Master of Ceremonies. The evening also paid tribute to the late Miriam Makeba, Mama Afrika.
We had such fun during our afternoon with Sarah, Cadence and Ted. We met up at their favorite coffee place, then headed to Berger Park, right along Lake Michigan. Devin and Cadence ran willy-nilly all over the playground. It was exhausting watching them.

Bighorn sheep come down out of the hills to share a rancher's horses' hay along Quartz Creek near Ohio City, CO in Gunnison County.
She made sure the pigeons were as well fed as she was - sharing her chips and coke. The pigeons loved the chips - coke...not so much.
