This photo was taken using an iphone 4s just after my grandson Leo became aged three. I had been hanging washing down the garden when I heard one word "mama "
I turned to see Leo at my conservatory door looking the proudest little boy on the planet. My phone was residing in my pocket and I grabbed this shot. It is never taken out the folder that houses photo's ready to upload to Flickr meaning I see it almost every day...hope you forgive this bonus upload as I will upload another shot too but this just may may make you grin the way it did me ....
It is just a snapshot that made me smile because he was so proud of himself lol...he is nine now but this is a very precious memory :)

Ms. Monnie turned 4 yesterday & her Dad, my son's [Sincere] birthday is today December 3rd, they have a cruel joke going as his dad's birthday is tomorrow, he was born the day before his Dad & Ms. Monnie was born the day before him, lol.

Obviously, this isn't one of those canine-friendly restaurants where one may dine with their best friend. You can tether him outside all you want, Mr. Dog Owner! Yes, let him watch you through a window while he salivates from the smell emitting from the dining room you comfortably sit but, you cannot deny his sad puppy face! YOU WILL make it up by delivering one fatty of a doggie bag!!

My wife and my son standing together and enjoying the view to the Vatnajökull glacier in Iceland.
In the opposite direction you can find the famous Diamond Beach, where you can see (and photograph) ice blocks on black sand. Almost everybody took their images of the ice blocks, but for me the other direction worked best.
My niece and her son, visiting from way up north, sharing a moment on the beach at Corpus Christi, Texas. For 121 Pictures in 2021 #86 "Sharing".

These two are just flirting, or possibly moving past flirting and planning a family. Who knows? The male kept flying off fetching fish that he came back and handed over to the female, who kept telling him to go get more.
I guess that's one way to get (almost) free lunch?

The hummers didn't seem to mind me being near them in the yard. There were quite a few, so I went back inside and grabbed the camera. These three eventually settled down and shared the feeder.

Downy Woodpecker, Ontario, Canada by Judy Tomlinson
I found this Common buckeye (Junonia coenia) and an American snout (Libytheana carinenta) butterflies on one Rattlesnake master (Eryngium yuccifolium) blossom. There's also two tiny black bees but who's counting. Again, the height of this blossom makes macros so much easier.
I couldn't fall asleep two Saturdays ago so Scotch and I went out as the sun was rising through heavy clouds and headed for Manhattan Beach. Surf reports seem to suggest Southern LA beaches get bigger waves than Northern LA beaches. Unlike Malibu, it was already full of people when I arrived around 8:30 AM. Came back a few days later.
