Over loaded Auto, Illegal and dangerous ride. Total six people are on board including me.

Bumble bee on the right with cucumber beetle on the left. Didn't see the little guy until later. Lots of pollinators to be found in a patch of pickerelweed.

Caterpillar snatched from the tree (it is green matching the tree, but can be seen in the lower bird's beak ... and the other is just hoping the other will share its find.

Not much happening on the bird front lately. A few left over from a trip back in September.

Hopefully things will pick up soon.

Literally ...😲

I always "love" to share my apple with my husband because I never seem to be able to eat a whole one.

Ups I realized the photo was taken a week before so no use for Flickr Friday this week.... damn!

Toby, hoping one of those dog cookies (yes, they really are dog cookies) will find it's way to his mouth.

He wasn't disappointed.

Both had been startled by one lady walking her dog. There's still some drops of water coming off !

During the summer my old Underwood has table space all to itself, but now that cooler weather is approaching, the house plants have been brought in from their summer residence on the back deck and take their places at the table by the window.

Good morning everyone. Just a single "high key" pic of a Black Swallowtail (Papilio polyxenes) and Eastern Tiger Swallowtail (Papilio glaucus) nectaring together on Field Thistle (Cirsium discolor). Taken at Lacey Pond, and while Eastern Tigers were fairly numerous this season Black Swallowtails were quite scarce.

Thank you for stopping by...and I hope you're having a truly nice week.

A Bakerloo Line train to Harrow & Wealdstone is seen arriving at Willesden Junction station. Between Queen's Park and Harrow & Wealdstone, the Bakerloo Line shares tracks with Overground trains running to Watford via the Watford DC Line. The differences in the rolling stock are stark: Underground trains use Metro-Cammell 1972 Stock from, obviously, 1972 whereas Overground trains use Bombardier Class 710 trains from 2017-2020. The large difference in floor heights between the two trains means that there is a ~12" step down into Bakerloo Line trains, and a few inch step up into Overground trains. This is clearly not conducive to level boarding for accessibility requirements, so I am curious to see how this is rectified in the future.

These are Great Spangled Fritillary Butterflies on a coneflower. They aren't mating, just sharing. They were only there for a couple of seconds before one of them flew.

Rhapsody is my very elderly (26 year old) horse - he is the dark bay. He's hanging out with and schooling the yearling - who is now almost his size! Most of the time they are good friends!

I'll be catching up :)

Enjoy <3
