Two red-breasted nuthatches (Sitta canadensis) sharing the peanut butter feeder.
Actually barely tolerating each other. They seem to be quite aggressive tiny little birds, and almost always chase off all comers.
The Detroit River is the border between Canada and the United States. One side is the Canadian city of Windsor and on the other side is Detroit, also known as the āMotor Cityā (Motown). Windsor and Detroit share a lot and one thing the people on the Windsor side enjoy is the view of Detroitās skyline. Prominent on that skyline is the Renaissance Centre the world headquarters of General Motors
Decked out trucks making rounds to care facilities in the Comox Valley to bring some joy to the residents! A fabulous idea. I hope it spreads to other communities.

They both hum, but that's where the similarity ends. This is another thing that happens when you revisit your archives - you see things that you completely missed. It's not a big deal, but I was amused by this apparent mismatch! Bee V Fiery-throated Hummingbird.
This Honey Bee and Green Metallic Bee (Sweat Bee) were seen at the Huntington Library sharing the bounty of a white Cosmos Blossom. Hit "L" for a closer look.

Conowingo Dam, MD - The two Cormorants popped up from under the water and were fighting over the fish. A Bald Eagle swooped in and the fish got away.
