Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. I just love to see complete strangers sharing a tiny space in the city. The smallest of gaps between them and how the body language shows that one is always a little more uncomfortable than the other. Enjoy!

Street photography from Glasgow, Scotland.
First shot out of the bag on my return to street photography in Glasgow after 3 years away with severe PTSD and a terrifying period of homelessness. Proving to myself that I still have what it takes - albeit with a hill of confidence to climb.
I had done a little street shooting in Ayr prior to this, and will share some of those in good time, but being back in the big city with camera in hand was a magical feeling.
During my time without my computer I captured 969 photos onto my camera card. It may take some time to edit them all.
Thank you all for your incredible support and care. You have kept me strong through this extremely difficult time and your warm welcome back to Flickr has brought me to tears. My deepest thanks to you.

We were sharing sunflower seeds with the chickadees, nuthatches and Canada Jays in Algonquin Park, but they were not sharing at all... chasing each other off. I have never seen them so hungry! They must be fattening up for winter. HWW

This is Jopie and my mother made it for me. I always have him with me, so I'm never alone. My father didn't want me to play with dolls, so I always hid Jopie in my bag.

Valle de la Luna is a part of the Reserva Nacional los Flamencos and was declared a Nature Sanctuary in 1982 for its natural environment and strange lunar landscape, from which its name is derived.
The Atacama desert is also considered one of the driest places on earth, as some areas have not received a single drop of rain in hundreds of years, but last week. A prototype for a Mars rover was tested there by scientists because of the valley's dry and forbidding terrains.

I have a friend who quite often will dip into her pocket and bring out a few sugar-free candies and offer them up. It's nice to have a friend who shares candies. :-)
Low light in the sky nearing days end walking back to the vehicle a bobcat popped up onto the trail ahead of us. It was aware of our presence yet continued to stop along the way to scan something to hunt. When things like this happen I call it a gift.
