Hildebrandt's starling is found in Kenya and Tanzania, Its habitat is open woodland and open thornbrush country. Watched these two for a while, The bird being fed seemed large for a "baby" so, assumed they were simply sharing??

I read the 7DWF Crazy Tuesday Theme: "Time to Share".
And I thought it's time to share our two new cats ;-))
So .......this is "Dubh", which means "black" in old Irish, (correct me if I'm wrong, found it on the internet ). Luckily he is (already) taller, but it's still hard to see who is who ;-))
Here you can see his sister 'Lady'.

Not exactly a great shot, because they were too high in the sky, but it was nice to observe these two species flying very close to each other, they even seemed to be playing, sometimes.
And it was the first time I've seen a melanic morphotype of the Montagu's Harrier.

High on the hills above the south coast of Wellington, New Zealand. The West Wind wind farm with 62 turbines shares the hills with sheep on the 13,000 acre Terawhiti Sheep Station. The wind farm generates enough electricity to power the equivalent of 73,000 homes.
I thought their view was fantastic. The cows almost seemed to invite me to appreciate the great landscape that lies at their feet

Lots of rain so many of the fields are flooded.
Nice of these geese and sandhill cranes to share the space!
