This is a photo of what looks like paint splattered on the side of the school. This photo represents organic shape. Reason being is because the subject (the paint) has an irregular shape and how it stands out from the brick behind it. What I like about this photo is the shape of the splatter, it looks almost like a meteor coming from space. The shape makes you think about what it could look like or mean.
The countless pedestrian overpasses in the Central District create a wealth of photo opps, with lines and shapes creating interesting positive & negative spaces.

This is my second shape project and I made this by making squares and filling them with the paint tool with rainbow colors. Then I used the rectangle marqee tool to cut out of the blue background where there was not rainbow checker patterns and free transformed to make them pop out. Then I took the circle and rectangle marquee tool and made shapes in the rainbow boxes and used the white fill tool to choose which color to whiten and make a background illusion. Finnaly to balance out all the spuares and rectangles I made rainbow circles that I pasted so they were the same size and filled them and made a large oval in the top left corner.

Requirement 2: 2-D shape as the primary element
From the photo you can clearly see the shape of a bird. The photo of a heron was taken against bright skies. I used aperture-priority mode with aperture of f/5.6, ISO 100 and exposure compensation of +2/3 in order to create the silhouette and remove distracting details.
In post production, I decreased highlights and increased contrast to intensify the shape.
1: The element this image is expressing is "Shape." It is reflected to composition because it serves to create a mood and it leads the eye through the photograph.
2: The main subject matter of the photograph is positioned near shape.
3: The steps that make this image successfully visually striking is the darkening of the shadows and really focusing on the wheel of the wheel barrow.
1. The element displayed in the image is shape. Shape is shown in the image because of the circular shape of the apple. The apple is the first thing most would see in the image, it stands out as the object with a shape because it is a 2 dimensional figure.
