I tried some photography of a bunch of shapes which consisted of bowtie pasta, spaghetti noodles, macaroni, and some weird spinny twirly noodles. It turned out ok, I guess
Size & Shape
The Bald Eagle dwarfs most other raptors, including the Turkey Vulture and Red-tailed Hawk. It has a heavy body, large head, and long, hooked bill. In flight, a Bald Eagle holds its broad wings flat like a board.
Color Pattern
Adult Bald Eagles have white heads and tails with dark brown bodies and wings. Their legs and bills are bright yellow. Immature birds have mostly dark heads and tails; their brown wings and bodies are mottled with white in varying amounts. Young birds attain adult plumage in about five years.
Behavior
You'll find Bald Eagles soaring high in the sky, flapping low over treetops with slow wingbeats, or perched in trees or on the ground. Bald Eagles scavenge many meals by harassing other birds or by eating carrion or garbage. They eat mainly fish, but also hunt mammals, gulls, and waterfowl.
Habitat
Look for Bald Eagles near lakes, reservoirs, rivers, marshes, and coasts. For a chance to see large Bald Eagle congregations, check out wildlife refuges or large bodies of water in winter over much of the continent, or fish processing plants and dumpsters year-round in coastal Alaska and the Pacific Northwest.

Now the fun/ dangerous part – softening the PVC. Please note that we’re trying to SOFTEN the PVC, NOT MELT, and CERTAINLY NOT BURN the PVC. Burning PVC releases TOXIC CHEMICALS so please don’t blame/ sue me if you get cancer from trying to replicate what I did. Also, you’ll notice that I’m doing this outside, where there’s plenty of ventilation. Be Safe.
I use a dual temp heat gun to heat the PVC enough to soften it. The low setting seems to be hot enough to soften the PVC without a lot of danger of burning. However, the high setting is much faster, so I often use that. You’ll notice the parts of the project where I burned the PVC. My bad.

many variations of shape are represented in this photograph, each lock by itself and pilled into of one another creates a new distinct shape which is the focus of the photo itself. it fits well that they all sort of stick out at different angles pulling your eyes to different parts of the photo the longer you look at it with no lack of interesting content, however the photo could still likely be improved by taking a photo of a section of locks with more variety in manufacturers and even at a different time of day.
The letters in the stop sign represent geometric shapes. Even though the egg is not the focus I focused on the geometric letters.

Meet Linda, photographer, student at the University of the Arts, and local resident.
After dinner, I was hanging out in our local park with my kids. I watched this woman walk into the park, look around very intently, and then take several photos of that oddly shaped building you see in the background. She is taking a photography for illustrators course at the university (that's her brand new Pentax that she bought for the course). She's a sophomore, studying illustration. She really enjoys school. Her assignment was to take photos of geometric shapes - triangles, squares, circles, etc. - I think she said she needed numerous photos of each shape, and that building presents quite a few shapes. After we got done chatting, she hurried off in search of more shapes. I could tell she was anxious to complete her assignment, and the light was beginning to fade, so she was very kind to take the time for my interruption. Thanks, Linda, for being stranger 17.
Although this park was recently renovated, the building in the background was retained. I don't think anyone has figured out what to do with it (it used to house a weight room where Rocky Balboa worked out). Neighborhood lore has it that the building's roof design represents Christopher Columbus's hat (this is Columbus Park), but I doubt it. As explained by stranger 18 - sorry, you'll have to wait 24 hours to see and read about her (but I will tell you she has an almost uncanny relationship to stranger 17) - this is the "cupcake" building.
