My friend the incredible how is my inspiration for this series. I freely admit to "borrowing" from her but my images are a pale imitation at best. Please look at her wonderful photos.
I have found the challenge of shadows very fun. It is a lot harder to get interesting shadows than I ever imagined.

ok, I had some fun with this!
this is the shadow of the ground cover on the edge of the sidewalk
I put the foam core behind it to capture the shadow and shot it from above
flipped it over and darkened it
