.... The Frederick G. Gardiner Expressway, colloquially referred to as "the Gardiner", is a municipal expressway serving traffic in downtown Toronto. Running close to the shore of Lake Ontario, it extends from the foot of the Don Valley Parkway (DVP) in the east, just past the mouth of the Don River, to the junction of Highway 427 and the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) in the west. Built in segments from 1955 until 1964, the Gardiner Expressway is now wholly owned and operated by the City of Toronto

Taken at Flickr Meetup in December 2007...oh yeah, I'm a little behind.
I had taken a ballet class at the Arts Center that fall that started in the late afternoon. I loved these sails and the way the light played and shadows played off of them at sunset.
