The afternoon shadows are always magical around here. Long, yellow shadows are cast through the meadows and forest. While it only lasts for about 15 minutes each day, it's always worth timing a photo shoot to capture the changing landscape. The yellow becomes even more apparent surrounded by a blueish winter scene.
Today we were able to attend a Golden Gopher's Basketball practice. What a great time. Afterwards we got to take some shots on the court, talk with the players, get autographs, and take pictures. The guys were all awesome to talk to. We were able to talk up Nolen, good kid. Hoping this team finishes the season strong.
This little guy decided to crawl into my parents pond at their camp and stay. We aren't sure where he came from, the only water around is a great lake. My mom decided to name him, after she saw he decided to make the pond his home, which is not something you should do to wild animals because...... you get attached! Toby found the little pond a great home during the summer months, however, the pond will not proove a good winter home for him to hibernate. We tried to set him free but he would have none of it. We are currently trying to find Toby a winter home.
