The southbound Thames river crossing on the M25 - the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge, a cable stayed bridge.
Upon completion, the bridge was Europe's largest cable-supported bridge. As of 2010, by main span length, it is the second largest cable-stayed bridge in the United Kingdom behind the Second Severn Crossing (6 m longer and opened in 1996) and the 44th largest cable-stayed bridge in the world.
Luckily I found out about the new way to pay the toll a few days before...

I want to get these right. I like my ganache consistancy but getting them to be a ball, or stay a ball, or get coated and remain a ball.. is difficult. heheh. They are quite good though!
I'm setting up my camera for the shot. Without a photo there can be no proof that we had a dinner party. We did, damnit, we did.
José, Corrine, Rafael (flashing a sign), and my cropped brother Juan Carlos. Oh, by the way, that's my hand.
it really was fascinating to watch the roadies at work, essentially setting up and then later tearing apart this enormously complex stage & equipment every day...
I post this just in spite of the dick that lives at this house. So I ran across the street and cut through a houses backyard that had a for sale sign and no cars in the driveway so I could get this picture before it got dark. Snapped this, was leaving, and then he decides to come out and bother me about how I was in his yard, I said sorry. Then he starts asking where I live, so about the time I was over him and walked away. I don't see the need in being rude when the other person is apologizing, but oh well.
Fuck you, big man.
