Did you know Hughie's has our own scenic department? If you have an idea for a creative backdrop, set design, or unique piece, Hughie's can make it come to life!

For our group set design we were given the text 'The Masque of the Red Death' by Edgar Allen Poe which we were required to analyse, then design and produce a set for. We chose to go quite abstract with our design, thinking outside the box and stepping out of the ordinary. The lighting was a main part of this set, as we wanted to create quite a disturbing and uncomfortable, eerie setting.
