The set is much nicer (in my opinion) than the one they ended up using for the first few seasons. Perhaps they decided to make the set more plain so middle and lower class Americans could relate more to the Ricardos.

In a limited time, problems of digital communication should be made physical.

 

Filtering in social networks is an interesting topic. In this set people can be seen or not by moving a fader with 3 colored windows, which makes some invisible. At different points, a person could see a whole group, while only one of the group can see the searcher.
