The recipe says it serves 6-8 people but we found it barely served four. It is delicious with freshly sliced tomatoes and a ribbon of ketchup.

After law enforcement warned residents to leave Hunt due to worsening weather and plans to close the bridge as a precaution, World Central Kitchen shifted meal operations to Center Point on Monday, July 15, 2025. Restaurant partner The Twisted Texican, owned by chefs Megan Wise and Casey Miller, served breakfast, lunch, and dinner to first responders and community members as part of ongoing flood relief efforts. In addition to running their small business, Wise and Miller also perform in a local band and were scheduled to play at The Hunt Store on July 4 before the floods struck.
