Diana made fresh juiced carrot and ginger martinis. Although not an official aperitif, it was the perfect light and refreshing cocktail to start our bellies feeling good before the big feast.

Commissioner of Agriculture Dr. Ryan Quarles hosted a Kentucky Hunger Initiative dinner, Serving Up Solutions, Feb. 8 in Frankfort. The dinner was started as a way to fundraise for agencies across the state who provide resources for those who are food insecure. Proceeds benefit Feeding Kentucky, Kentucky Hunters for the Hungry (KHFH), and Glean Kentucky.
