Mk IV Striders on 38 - I
Strider 1947 seen here at the old Bedok Interchange on service 38. Striders were once a common sight on 38, replacing the B10M Mk IIIs. This bus has been de-registered.
Service 38 operates between Bedok and Tampines, passing by Bedok South, Tanah Merah and Simei in between.

A pair of Virgin Trains Super-Voyagers, 221112 & 221105 get underway from Central Rivers TMD, Barton-under-Needwood running wrong line the short distance to Wichnor Junction where they will take the branch to Lichfield Trent Valley and then onwards to Chester as 5D99.
Visible in the background, running on the same line, is Cross Country Class 170 No. 170636 forming 1D55, the 09:19 Birmingham New Street to Nottingham service on 20th March 2018.

ACS42T was a Leyland Leopard PSU3E/4R / Plaxton Supreme C53F new to McGregor's, a member of The Clyde Coast Co-operative in April 1979. It lasted in the fleet until March 1987 when it was traded in to Moseley (dealers) at Coatbridge. It was quickly sold on however passing to James Gibson's of Moffat, where it ran until May 1991 when it's career was cut short after accident damage and it passed to Dunsmore at Larkhall for scrap in July 1991. This view shows it at Park's City Coach Terminal in Glasgow.
