This is a taxidermy piece that I am working on for "In Lair of the Serpent Queen" show here in Atlanta at Archive Gallery.

This bejeweled kitty is my offering to the queen. Around 1700 sequins have been added and each one requires 3 stitches, the material is Lycra its the same delicacy as pantyhose

sewing those took me hours!

Cocktail hats made from a wool felt base blocked into a small button shape which is completely covered with sequins and beads each individually sewn in place by hand. They are adorned with feather flowers and lined with silk dupion.
