I was flipping through my I was flipping through my What I Wore Today photo set yesterday and realized that I hadn’t worn my hospital dress or sequin shoes in a while. Why not wear them both at once? Some people dress casually on Friday; I dress crazily.
I over-dyed these jeans (and my one other pair of dark jeans) this weekend with one package of indigo and one package of black Dylon dye. I LOVE the results. (For comparison, the first photo in the below montage features this exact pair back in March.) How much do you want to bet, though, that I have blue legs by the end of the day?
As this is the fourth time I’ve worn the crazy hospital dress, I think it’s time for a “how have you liked it best” poll.

One of those struggle days....think I've over dosed on paint fumes! I mostly struggled with the Macro Monday theme of Busy, so at some point someone, or most probably a machine, was busy sewing on all these sequins :))
my brother's girlfriend is from romania. over the weekend she showed me this beautiful turn-of-the-century blouse, which belonged to her grandmother. it's a fine sheer fabric decorated with gold chevron bands and flower motifs in satin stitch and tiny brass sequins.
Rings are tatted with white thread and the chains are tatted with a silver thread that comes with tiny sequins on it. I love this little snowflake!

I was driving down town in Helsinki. It was a bright bright day. The sun was shining. Away in the distance a mirror was flashing on the pavement. There was white light dancing around the feet of tall girl who was wearing a frock. The dress was swirling around her legs and her feet were sparkling.
She was dancing along the pavement, coming nearer and nearer and her feet were on fire, or so it seemed.
She was wearing a pair of silver sequined sneakers, and her walk was stoping the traffic. She was turning heads just becasue she was wearing some crazy flashing sequined footwear. It was like scattering diamonds on the footpath. It was like an oar dipped in the phosphorent lumminous moon-light ocean. It was magic.
No wonder Dorothy did magic with a click of her heels.
I've gone a bit sequin crazy. I filled a Pyrex casarole dish with them. I bought 2 mixed bags at Michaels and my goal is to sort them out. I'm waiting for my OCD to kick for this porject.

I'll be at Open Sauce 2025 this weekend displaying my lightpainting hardware. I've got pretty much all of my hardware, including the janky shit that never really did much for me.
I had sheihernandezalcala over a few weeks ago for this. I'd scheduled it before I'd gotten accepted, but since she was here I really wanted to get some shots with the latest hardware that I could show at Open Sauce.

Jumping in the staff room this morning, in my pink leather jacket for we're here's 'leather' pick today. And I was a bit early for work, so I sillied it up slightly.
Got this jacket for either my 16th or 18th birthday, from my Mum and Dad - I'm 34 now so it's lasting well!
Also HLTLT - would have done this outside but it's raining. Might go out later if it brightens up!
