A grey, very windy and drizzly end of the day, creating these slightly unpredictable waves for the surfers.
By the time I pulled my gear and aimed, this fella took off, but fired couple of shots. Following is the sequence of shots. My previous photo is one of them with crop and saturation /contrast adjustments. Like the last one in the series, so posted cropped version.

N = 1'000 couples. The figure represents the sequence of activities comparing the Higher Managerial (men & women) to the Manual & Routine class (men & women). It focuses on the activities done with the presence of the partner and the children (family time). The diaries start at 4am until 4am the next day. The interval of time is 10min, therefore 144 episodes (144*10 = 1440min).

This belongs to a sequence of images taken as I launched my 3.5 lb. Canon 550D kite aerial photography cradle below an 8' Rokkaku kite framed with lightweight carbon spars. The sequence shows me slowly gaining altitude in steady winds that slowly varied between 4 mph and 6 mph (as measured on the ground). It was a challenging puzzle getting the camera to altitude.
The images were taken on the south levee of the Alameda Creek flood control channel. I was there to capture a specific photograph.
I am taking these documentary photographs under a Special Use Permit from the California Department of Fish & Game. Kite flying is prohibited over the E Ponds without a Special Use Permit as is access to this part of the Eden Landing Ecological Reserve.
This Gerenuk, Litocranius walleri, was photographed in Kenya, as part of a research project utilizing motion-activated camera-traps.
