As a further prequel to this month's forthcoming Keighley and Worth Valley Railway's 2022 Steam Gala Extravaganza, thought I'd share another image from last September's Mixed Traffic Gala....
11.15am on, a bright and sunny, Saturday 11th September 2021 with 'Rods Down' sees 'Home Fleet Pristine Locomotives' LMSR Ivatt
2-6-2T No. 41241 pilot BR Standard 2MT 2-6-0 No. 78022 with a six coach train (including Pullman Travel - third coach) travelling South and working hard when climbing the steep embankment approaching Oakworth - with the Ex Keighley 10.50am service for Oxenhope.
Llyn Gwynant is a lake in Snowdonia, Wales.
Llyn Gwynant lies on the River Glaslyn, in the Nant Gwynant valley, and is about 1¼ miles (2 km) north east of Llyn Dinas; the village of Bethania lies between them.
Snowdon lies 2 miles (3 km) to the north west. The lake is natural, having been formed by glacial action and is 120 acres (50 hectares) in size. It is a popular place for canoeing and kayaking with easy access from the A498 road which runs along its south bank.
It was used as a filming location in the 2003 film 'Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life'.

. . . One of the baby bunnies in our yard this spring grazes on clover in the lawn, while keeping the radar in the ears active. This is one of several baby bunnies to grow up in our yard!

It's Wednesday, so I was stuck at home, as usual. But, when I took Rufus out for his after tea prom I took my camera too.

. . . Another shot of the female Monarch Butterfly that has been visiting the Sedum flowers in the yard. Quite the shade difference between the bottom side of her wings (on the bottom in the photo) and the top, the darker orange showing above.

Photographed by the stream in my local park a couple of days ago. They looked so lovely, I had to take a picture. The petals have dropped, leaving these rose hips in their place, swelling in autumn's morning sunlight.

Autumn can be so beautiful, we have a day of bright sunshine today, for which we are truly grateful, as I am for all your faves and kind comments, my Flickr friends.

. . . I was surprised today by a female Monarch Butterfly feasting on the Sedum in our yard! She was flitting from flower to flower getting sugar for the flight to Mexico which will happen soon!
The male Monarchs have 2 small black dots on their wings near the body, and this one does not have them, so her pronouns are she/her!
