One of the plants in the hot house at the Auckland Winter Garden.

It's called a sensitive plant because when you touch the leaves, they fold up. I never would've known this if it weren't for the young woman standing next to me who was showing her boyfriend how it worked.

The flowers remind me of Dr Seuss, specifically the little flower that the Whos live on in Horton Hears A Who.

Pretty cool, huh?

A letter to someone lost.

I scream your name, but get no response.

I cry for you, but you ignore me.

I beg, I crave for your forgiveness, but you turn away.

Why? What did I do?

I understand I did wrong,

but don't we all?

Fine.

Never accept my pleads of remorse.

But in return,

you've lost me forever.

Done.
