Conoscono i segreti per catturare l’energia del sole e trasformala in sostanza vitale.
Proteggono la terra, temperano e filtrano l’aria.
Donano riparo e nutrimento agli altri esseri viventi.
Ogni albero custodisce i misteri della vita, pronto a svelarli a chi li saprà ascoltare.
Il loro respiro è vita, e ogni albero respira.
Gli alberi “parlano” quando c’è un pericolo in arrivo, interagiscono tra loro, sono sensibili al rumore e alla musica.
Sembra che il loro modo di scambiarsi informazioni non avvenga solo tramite messaggi odorosi, sostanze chimiche volatili, variazioni di luminosità, ma anche grazie a onde sonore o minuscole vibrazioni.
Tra di loro “dialogano” senza disturbare.
Gli alberi sono ricchi di misteri e parte fondamentale della nostra vita.

They breathe, feed, grow and reproduce: a tree is a living being
They know the secrets to capture the sun's energy and turn it into a vital substance.
They protect the earth, temper and filter the air.
They give shelter and nourishment to other living beings.
Each tree holds the mysteries of life, ready to reveal them to those who will know how to listen to them.
Their breath is life, and every tree breathes.
Trees "speak" when there is a danger coming, interact with each other, are sensitive to noise and music.
It seems that their way of exchanging information takes place not only through odorous messages, volatile chemicals, variations in brightness, but also thanks to sound waves or tiny vibrations.
They "talk" to each other without disturbing.
Trees are full of mysteries and a fundamental part of our life.

Tawny Owl - Strix Aluco
The tawny owl or brown owl (Strix aluco) is a stocky, medium-sized owl commonly found in woodlands across much of Eurasia. Its underparts are pale with dark streaks, and the upperparts are either brown or grey. Several of the eleven recognised subspecies have both variants. The nest is typically in a tree hole where it can protect its eggs and young against potential predators. This owl is non-migratory and highly territorial. Many young birds starve if they cannot find a vacant territory once parental care ceases.
This nocturnal bird of prey hunts mainly rodents, usually by dropping from a perch to seize its prey, which it swallows whole; in more urban areas its diet includes a higher proportion of birds. Vision and hearing adaptations and silent flight aid its night hunting. The tawny owl is capable of catching smaller owls, but is itself vulnerable to the eagle owl or northern goshawk.
Although many people believe this owl has exceptional night vision, its retina is no more sensitive than a human's and its asymmetrically placed ears are key to its hunting by giving it excellent directional hearing. Its nocturnal habits and eerie, easily imitated call, have led to a mythical association of the tawny owl with bad luck and death.

If touched, this plant's leaves will fold quickly enough to be easily observed - therefore, "sensitive."
Tofu is truly a sensitive soul. There are a lot of things he is afraid of, like the vet, the vacuum cleaner, the garbage truck, the doorbell, the neighbour's dogs, people he doesn't know, etc. Whenever something worries him he hides either behind me or behind Cleo and if that isn't possibe he disappears behind the sofa. On the other hand he is a very kind, sweet, charming and peaceful cat. He is the only cat I have ever had who can sit under a birdfeeder for hours while birds come and go and no bird will get harmed because he just wants to watch them.
