day one hundred and ninety nine
in the run up to the wedding we had free reign over the castle where rachel and robert had decided to hold the reception in. it's a wonderful baronial pad just outside perth with the river tay runing alongside it, rolling gardens and suits of armour. the wedding party had their own living space with comfy overstuffed couches and this huge fireplace. quite a lot of stuffed animals dotted about the place too, not too sure about them....
im so tired, and i cant believe tomorrow is the last day of summer. well, for me it is, tuesday is my first day of grade 11, woo.

There are a few things that make me very happy in life:
my children
photography
listening to good music
sunlight
excitement about the future
and...
getting a new camera.
I'm so happy with this Canon. Just awesome.
Today I ticked off those things on my happy list. Good times.

couldn't sleep.... the results of a green tea latte at 10:30 at night I'm thinking..... playing around some more with the self-portraits - now I'm tired!
I'm a bit free today... so i've decided to do some strobist practice... above is one of the shot that i've got... besides that i'm trying my best to do some shoot of serious expression... like madey said to me before that my face can't be something like a gangster face... ahahaha so i'm trying my best to express my "mad" feeling and take a shoot... ahaha so the result as shown above...

Props to my friend Lauren for snapping my 365 today, I did a photoshoot with her and her friend, Anastasia, I didnt bring my tripod, so I set up the camera, and she snapped this one for me.

It's a recovery day from this past week up north. I washed my clothes and packed them back in my suitcase.

It may be snowing like a mofo outside, but I have flowers indoors to remind me that spring is on its way (eventually, I hope).
Well another busy day. After work, I did a little shoot for my friend Abigael tonight and might get the shots published in her magazine. I think that if I got the opportunity to do this again and with a little more time I might do the shots in her office and her not looking direct to camera. Anyway the magazine is a wedding service and venue magazine for the UK and she is the Editor and Publisher www.weddingvenues.co.uk
Be nice to have even just to have a headshot published! Woo hoo so that's exciting! She was a very reluctant victim though - not happy having her photo taken!
But I think one or two nice ones though x
