Feeling very ill today (Saturday) so had about 5 mins to do this before I went back to sleep in the afternoon. Is pretty rubbish.
Still feeling unwell hence being so late posting it.
I think a series of self-portraits is in order after this one... yes, things got out of hand quickly with the hair stuff...

I had to work on this holiday. It was alright. I'm a little tired. We watched the fireworks on TV.
Had my best day for about 5 weeks today - healthwise! Yay.
Today we celebrated (and commiserated) a colleague and friend's leaving - taking early retirement at 53. Good on her. Her name is Christine.
We went for a drink (apple juice for me!) and then a select few went for a bite to eat. First time I've eaten out in 5 weeks. :-) Any way less about me, more about my friend.
So Christine has left. She will be much missed - personally and workwise.
She'd done over 30 years at the company and knows just about everything there is to know about everything - so many contacts, so much knowledge. She's someone that would give up her own time to help someone else, meaning she has to stay late herself to do her own work. So like I said she will be much missed - but maybe she can get some 'me time' now and focus on herself. I hope so!
This is a slight cheat as the waiter at the restaurant took this (maybe we can just say he was the human tripod!) Apologies for the quality - it was a crop from a wider shot.
Stayed at Abigael's tonight.. My godson Adam was due home today from an athletics trip in Lanzarote - but because of the volcano spewing volcanic ash in Iceland which has closed all British airports as the ash means it's dangerous for planes to fly. Surreal.

We are at the State Fair! I love the fair so much! I mostly ate the whole time I was there. We were on the news!
I only turned down the darks and turned up the blacks and the colors came out like that! rad. I heart RAW.

who say self potrait is easy ? I have difficulties focusing my own eyes. It's not easy (luckily I chose 52 project instead of 356)
